DESCRIPTION 
We’re looking for smart, proactive people to help grow our business. As A Vendor Manager, you'll work cross functionally with each area of the team, You’ll be responsible for planning and executing the selection and promotion strategy for the team, driving the vendor management team to implement your presented strategies.

You will also provide support to drive category growth through detailed analysis of business inefficiencies and identifying solutions; proposing changes to operational processes and driving a high standard in customer satisfaction.

To achieve success in this role, you will have strong analytical, relationship management and organisational skills. You will also be comfortable picking up new technologies. You'll be an analytics expert, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly. You'll have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships.

This job is based in the UK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
 Degree Educated with excellent written English and strong attention to detail
 Strong commercial awareness with proven negotiation experience.
 Analytical skills and high computer literacy, with ability to learn new systems quickly
 Confidence in communicating both internally and externally
 Demonstrable ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions
 Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· An MBA from a leading business school is beneficial
· Industry sector-specific knowledge is not a prerequisite, though a passion for online retailing and the enthusiasm to quickly build up your knowledge of a new area are both essential!
· An entrepreneurial way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality
· A great deal of personal initiative, creativity, decisiveness and team spirit
